The people you'll meet

Dr Randall Phillips graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 1992, was licensed to practise in Quebec the following year, and has been seeing patients for over thirty years since.

He performs complete eye exams for adults and children, assesses ocular health, updates prescriptions and handles eye emergencies. He also carries out contact-lens fittings and follow-ups, and refers patients to an ophthalmologist whenever a condition calls for specialist care.

His approach comes down to one thing: taking the time to listen before reaching a conclusion.

David Knafo is a dispensing optician and the owner of Fokal Optique. He trained in visual orthotics at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and has been practising for ten years.

He guides clients through frame and lens selection, takes the measurements a precise build depends on, and fits every pair on delivery. He also handles after-sales service: adjustments, repairs and warranty claims.

To his mind a good pair of glasses is not only a question of looks — it has to suit how someone actually sees, and then be forgotten about.
