Pain, sudden vision loss or a foreign object: call us right away.
An eye emergency cannot wait. Any sudden loss of vision, pain, swelling or marked irritation needs to be assessed by an eye-care professional without delay.
Even an injury that looks minor can leave permanent damage if handled badly. If a foreign object is lodged in the eye, do not try to remove it yourself — you risk making the injury worse.
